Offer management
Nordstrom inventory and pricing sync
Every sellable child SKU needs an offer β a quantity, a price, and a state. Acenda keeps those offers aligned with real availability across your warehouses and with the channel-specific pricing you intend to publish.
Stock, aggregated and buffered
Available stock is rarely in one place. Acenda aggregates quantity across your locations and 3PLs into the pool Nordstrom should see, and applies safety buffers to reduce overselling risk. Accuracy also depends on source inventory, update timing and activity on other channels. Change a buffer or exclude a location, and the offers follow.
Pricing that stays deliberate
List price and sale price are maintained per channel, not inherited by accident. A markdown on your own site does not have to propagate to Nordstrom, and a Nordstrom-specific price does not have to be re-keyed every time your base price moves.
Offer state, not just quantity
A size at zero should stop being purchasable and come back when stock returns, without pulling the style down or re-launching it. Acenda drives offer state per child SKU from live availability, continuously.
Why it matters more on a fashion channel
Fashion sells in a shape β a few sizes carry most of the volume and go out first. Grid-level inventory accuracy is therefore the difference between a healthy style and a listing that frustrates shoppers at the exact sizes they want. Per-SKU offer management, not style-level availability, is the requirement.
Define the stock Nordstrom should see
Before enabling Nordstrom inventory sync, identify the inventory source, eligible fulfillment locations and safety-buffer policy. Physical stock and the quantity available to promise are not always the same: reserved, damaged or otherwise unavailable units should be handled in the source inventory process and agreed configuration.
Illustrative example
If eligible available inventory totals 12 units and the configured buffer withholds 2, the quantity offered would be 10 before any additional allocation rules. This is simple illustrative arithmetic, not a promise about a particular account's calculation or refresh interval.
Agree who owns each price
Choose the source of truth for regular and promotional prices, then confirm how Nordstrom-specific values are maintained. Review a representative SKU after a price change and check the effective offer on the channel. Acenda supports deliberate channel pricing; it does not set Nordstrom's commercial policies or guarantee simultaneous updates across every destination.
Investigate a mismatch at SKU level
When a size appears unavailable unexpectedly, check the source quantity, included locations, buffer and channel offer status. When a price differs, check the intended channel value and the latest update result. Per-SKU review connects the shopper-facing problem to the record that needs attention.
