Camelot Excalibur WMS integration with Acenda

Acenda connects Excalibur WMS from Camelot 3PL Software to the marketplaces and retailers your clients sell on. Through an API integration, Acenda sends each marketplace order to the Excalibur warehouse that ships it, keeps marketplace stock in step with your counts, and passes tracking back to the marketplace. Our team configures the connection with you during onboarding.

How does Camelot's Excalibur WMS connect to Acenda?

Camelot 3PL Software has built warehouse management systems for third-party logistics warehouses since 1987. Its Excalibur WMS runs multi-client inventory, receiving, shipping and 3PL billing on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.

Acenda and Excalibur are connected through an API integration. Marketplace orders, stock levels and shipment tracking move between the two systems automatically, so your team keeps working in Excalibur while Acenda handles every marketplace.

  • Orders to Excalibur. In Acenda, an order becomes one or more Ship Advices: one for each warehouse that ships part of it. Each Ship Advice carries the instructions that warehouse needs.
  • Tracking back to the marketplace. The carrier, tracking number and ship date come back from Excalibur. Acenda passes them to the marketplace or sales channel.
  • Stock levels to every channel. Stock from Excalibur keeps marketplace inventory in step with the warehouse. Acenda sends inventory to each channel on that channel's own schedule, not the moment stock changes, and holds back any Inventory Floor you set.
  • Order numbers. Acenda can send the full channel order number (recommended), the shorter purchase order number, or the Acenda order number.
  • Routing. Routing modes pick the warehouse: Ship Complete, then Priority or Proximity, then Default. Routing only decides which warehouse ships. It doesn't change what's listed.

How it works

Step 1
Connect.

Our onboarding team sets up the API integration between Excalibur and Acenda with you.

Step 2
Map.

Link each Excalibur warehouse to an Acenda warehouse, and assign those warehouses to the sales channels they fulfill.

Step 3
Run.

Orders, stock and tracking flow automatically. Email alerts flag bad addresses, bad tracking numbers, or orders that can't go through.

Built for 3PLs on Excalibur, and the brands they ship for

For 3PL warehouses running Excalibur

  • Say yes to marketplace brands. Take on clients who sell on Walmart, Amazon, Target+ and department-store marketplaces without building a separate connection for each retailer.
  • One order flow for every channel. Marketplace orders reach Excalibur the same way wherever they were placed. Your team keeps picking, packing, shipping and billing in Excalibur.
  • No re-keying tracking. Tracking goes back to each marketplace through Acenda, not through seller portals.
  • Inventory your clients can trust. WebLink still gives clients their live inventory view, and Acenda keeps their marketplace stock in line with your counts.

For brands whose 3PL runs Excalibur

  • Reach 100+ retail marketplaces from one catalog. Acenda's AI validates listings against each retailer's rules.
  • Orders route themselves to the right warehouse, with tracking passed back automatically.
  • Protect against overselling. Marketplace inventory follows your 3PL's stock, with Inventory Floors.
  • One view of listings, orders, routing and tracking for every channel.

Excalibur and retail marketplaces

Connecting Excalibur lets you sell on the channels Acenda connects, including Walmart, Amazon, Target+ and Kohl's. Listings, routing and tracking for each channel stay in Acenda. See Explore all channels.

Connecting a system to Acenda doesn't affect whether a marketplace accepts a brand. Each retailer makes its own decision.
