How does Acenda sync inventory to my marketplaces?

Quick answer

Acenda takes the stock reported for each warehouse, counts only the warehouses mapped to a channel, subtracts any inventory floor, and sends the total to each marketplace on that channel's schedule.

How inventory sync works, step by step

  1. Stock comes into Acenda from a connected fulfillment provider or inventory system (for example ShipHero, ShipBob, Shopify, NetSuite or an inventory file on SFTP), or from a manual adjustment.
  2. Acenda works out On Hand for each warehouse. With Respect Allocations on (recommended), that's Quantity minus Allocated.
  3. Only Active warehouses mapped under the channel's Settings > General > Warehouse Details count toward that channel.
  4. If the channel has an Inventory Floor, Acenda subtracts it from each mapped warehouse. A warehouse never counts below 0.
  5. Acenda sends the total to each marketplace location on that channel's schedule: Target Plus usually hourly, Walmart every 30 or 60 minutes, Mirakl marketplaces usually hourly, and Shopify every 30 minutes.
  6. Check exactly what was sent in the channel's Channel Events.

Frequently asked questions

How often does Acenda update marketplace inventory?
