How do Nordstrom Marketplace fees work?

Nordstrom Marketplace fees align with industry-standard marketplace commission and referral structures, with exact commercial terms set by Nordstrom and confirmed during onboarding. Acenda's platform fee is separate (flat rate per channel, never a percentage of sales).

Nordstrom does not publish a public marketplace rate card. Exact commercial terms are confirmed with Nordstrom during onboarding. Requirements and commercial terms can change, so confirm the current terms before you rely on them.

What other costs should sellers plan for?

Nordstrom Marketplace fees are only one part of the plan. Sellers fulfill their own orders. There is no Nordstrom fulfillment service for marketplace sellers.

• Shipping. You ship each order directly to the customer and upload tracking.
• Returns. Each seller has its own return window, measured from the ship date, under the Nordstrom Marketplace Return Policy. Marketplace items are not eligible for exchanges. See Nordstrom returns and settlement.
• Catalog work. Product types, attributes, approved values, and images have to be ready before an item can sell.
• Promotions. Nordstrom promotions and coupons generally do not apply to marketplace items unless Nordstrom says otherwise, so do not plan on those discounts covering marketplace orders.

How are payouts reconciled?

Acenda pulls Nordstrom payment and transaction records daily and matches them to orders, so differences can be traced to the transaction behind them.

That reconciliation sits next to the return and refund activity on Nordstrom returns and settlement.
