Nordstrom Marketplace requirements: what brands need
Quick answer
Nordstrom Marketplace requirements typically start with a U.S.-registered business with an EIN or tax ID and a W-9, a U.S. bank account, and a U.S. ship-from and returns address. Every item needs a valid barcode, and every shipment needs tracking with a carrier such as UPS, USPS, FedEx, or DHL eCommerce. Nordstrom confirms requirements with each brand during onboarding, and it also reviews whether the brand fits its curated shelf.

What shipping requirements apply?
You ship each Nordstrom Marketplace order yourself. There is no Nordstrom fulfillment service for marketplace sellers. Carriers commonly used are UPS, USPS, FedEx, and DHL eCommerce, and every shipment needs tracking.
For each order, Nordstrom shares the customer's name and shipping address so you can ship direct. The order path is covered on Nordstrom orders and fulfillment.
Beyond the checklist: fit
Clearing the checklist is not the same as getting in. Nordstrom Marketplace is curated, not an everything store. Nordstrom has said it wants more breadth, depth, and newness in the categories customers already come to it for, and it applies a quality and relevance bar similar to how it thinks about wholesale.
Anyone can apply, and Nordstrom decides who gets in. How that lines up with category direction is on Nordstrom Marketplace categories.
