What data moves between Business Central, Acenda and Target Plus?

  • Into Acenda from Business Central, when those flows are on: stock counts, catalog updates and pricing.
  • Out of Acenda to Target Plus: listings mapped to Target's taxonomy, inventory on Target's schedule with any Inventory Floor held back, orders, and tracking sent back. Acenda also handles cancellations and returns, and reconciles settlements.
  • Orders reach Business Central as Ship Advices, one for each shipping warehouse. Each one is acknowledged, and tracking (carrier, tracking number and ship date) comes back. The exact Business Central objects are configured during onboarding.

How Acenda connects Business Central

Business Central connects to Acenda the way other outside systems do, through one of three paths:

  • REST API with OAuth 2.0 client credentials: a Client ID and Client Secret created by an Acenda admin.
  • Recurring Import: a CSV or XLSX file from an SFTP server your team controls, on a schedule from every 15 minutes up. It can update catalog, stock by warehouse, channel item mapping, SKU aliases, promotions, custom pricing or tracking.
  • X12 EDI 4010 over direct SFTP or AS2, or through SPS Commerce or Orderful.

Our team configures the connection during onboarding.
