Target Plus guide
Is Target Plus worth it for your brand?
Quick answer
Target Plus can be worth it for brands that want a curated, invite-only shelf on Target.com and can run seller-fulfilled operations in the U.S. You trade open access for less crowding, and you take on shipping, returns, and Target's content bar. Target Plus fees align with industry-standard marketplace commission and referral structures, with exact terms set by Target.

When is Target Plus worth it?
Target Plus is worth a serious look when you want a curated shelf on Target.com and your assortment fits the way Target describes the brands it wants: style, design, and value, and something meaningful for guests.
Target said in July 2026 that the marketplace is invite-only and that it is integrating Target Plus into promotions and discovery. You trade open registration for a shelf Target selects.
What does it take to run Target Plus well?
You ship from within the U.S., typically within 24 hours, for delivery in 2 to 5 business days after shipment, on UPS, USPS, or FedEx. You support mail-in returns and in-store returns. In-store returns come back to you on pallets by truck, so you need a U.S. business address that can receive freight.
You also honor Target shopper benefits such as shipping thresholds and return shipping on mail-in returns. Packages may not include contact information or marketing inserts. Item-setup errors are fixed within one business day. The operating picture is on Target Plus fulfillment.
What are the fees?
Target Plus fees align with industry-standard marketplace commission and referral structures, with exact commercial terms set by Target and confirmed during onboarding. Acenda's platform fee is separate (flat rate per channel, never a percentage of sales).
Orders paid with the Target Circle Card (formerly RedCard) may carry an additional commission fee per transaction for the seller.

How Acenda helps
Acenda is a pioneer partner of Target Plus and has been part of Target Plus since day one. Acenda manages hundreds of Target Plus vendor clients. With that comes the honor and responsibility of assisting with vendor introductions and nominations for qualified vendors. An introduction or nomination is not approval — Target makes the final decision.
Target publicly lists Acenda as a Target Plus Channel Partner.
Acenda maps the catalog to Target's taxonomy, validates it before submission, keeps inventory and prices in sync, routes orders, and reconciles settlements.
That work starts after Target decides. Acenda does not approve the brand.
