How to get introduced or nominated for Target Plus

Quick answer

Target Plus is invite-only, and Target considers brands through its own scouting, through details brands submit on Target's seller site, and through introductions and nominations. Acenda is a pioneer partner of Target Plus and has been part of Target Plus since day one. An introduction or nomination is not approval — Target makes the final decision.

How do brands get considered for Target Plus?

Target Plus is invite-only. Target's seller site has a form where brands can submit their details for consideration. Submitting that form does not guarantee review or acceptance. Target also invites brands directly.

Target said in July 2026 that it focuses on brands that add something meaningful for guests. The full path is on how to become a Target Plus seller.

What does a Target Plus nomination from Acenda mean?

Acenda is a pioneer partner of Target Plus and has been part of Target Plus since day one. Acenda manages hundreds of Target Plus vendor clients. With that comes the honor and responsibility of assisting with vendor introductions and nominations for qualified vendors. An introduction or nomination is not approval — Target makes the final decision.

Target publicly lists Acenda as a Target Plus Channel Partner.

Acenda can introduce or nominate qualified leads to almost any third-party marketplace. Target Plus is one example; Kohl's, Ulta Beauty, Nordstrom, Macy's, and Bloomingdale's are others.

What an introduction or nomination is not

  • Not approval. An introduction or nomination is not approval.
  • Not a guarantee. It does not guarantee that Target will accept the brand.
  • Not a faster review. It does not shorten Target's review or improve the odds.
  • Not a formal program. There is no formal Target or Acenda nomination program.
  • Not for every brand. Acenda introduces or nominates a qualified brand when there is a good product fit.

What does Acenda look at before an introduction?

These are Acenda's readiness checks, not Target's criteria.

  • Assortment. Something new for Target shoppers.
  • Business basics. A U.S.-registered business, not a sole proprietorship, with a W-9, an EIN, and a D-U-N-S number.
  • U.S. fulfillment. Ship from within the U.S. on UPS, USPS, or FedEx.
  • Catalog. Ready for Target's content bar. See Target Plus requirements and the listing requirements checklist.

Introduction, nomination, or submitting your details yourself?

Both paths lead to the same Target review. Neither bypasses it. Brands can submit details on Target's seller site, and an introduction is a separate door into that same review.

Target Plus nomination FAQ

Can Acenda guarantee my brand gets on Target Plus?

No. Acenda may introduce or nominate a qualified brand when there is a good product fit, but an introduction or nomination is not approval. Target makes the final decision.

Is Target Plus the only marketplace Acenda can nominate to?

No. Acenda can introduce or nominate qualified leads to almost any third-party marketplace. Target Plus, Kohl's, Ulta Beauty, Nordstrom, Macy's, and Bloomingdale's are examples. The retailer decides each case.

Should I submit my details to Target myself or ask for an introduction?

Either way, Target reviews the brand. Whether an introduction makes sense for your brand is a good topic for a demo.
