Selling on multiple Mirakl marketplaces: what carries over and what doesn't

Quick answer

When you sell on multiple Mirakl-powered marketplaces, your product catalog and the way inventory, orders, and shipping flow carry over from one retailer to the next. Approval, category rules and attributes, image rules, and shipping setup do not: each retailer sets its own. Acenda keeps one catalog and adapts it to each retailer you're approved on.

What carries over from one Mirakl retailer to the next?

Your product data lives once in Acenda. Adding the next retailer does not mean building a second catalog.

Inventory, product prices, orders, shipping confirmations, and cancellations move the same way on every connected Mirakl-powered marketplace.

Your team uses the same mapping workflow each time. What changes is the destination's rules, not the way you keep product data.

What does each retailer set on its own?

The category tree and required attributes are set by each retailer. An attribute you filled in for one retailer may be a different field on the next, or may not exist there.

Allowed values differ too. Macy's, for example, requires specific color and size naming. A value that makes sense in your catalog may not be on that retailer's allowed list.

Image rules, and approval and review queues, are separate per retailer. Shipping options, carrier lists, and cancellation reasons are configured per retailer as well.

Requirements can change; confirm current terms during onboarding.

How do the retailers compare?

This table compares a few differences on each retailer's public path. The detail lives on each retailer's own guide.

Why is Macy's to Bloomingdale's the closest pair?

They share a company family and one partner site, but the assortments and the merchant teams are separate.

Acceptance on one does not approve you on the other. See sell on Bloomingdale's Marketplace.

Where does Acenda fit?

Manage one product catalog in Acenda and publish it to multiple Mirakl-powered marketplaces, including Macy's, Nordstrom, Kohl's, Lowe's and more. Acenda adapts your listings to each retailer's category and attribute requirements, and keeps inventory, pricing, orders and shipping in sync from one place.

Acenda doesn't approve brands, ship orders, or set any retailer's terms.

Mapping is covered in product listings. The steps for the next launch are in launching a new Mirakl marketplace.

Selling on multiple Mirakl marketplaces FAQ

What can I reuse when I add another Mirakl retailer?

Your product data in Acenda, your inventory and order flows, and the mapping workflow your team already knows. You still need that retailer's approval, and you map your catalog to its categories, attributes, and image rules.

Does approval on Macy's Marketplace cover Bloomingdale's?

No. Both use the Macy's Marketplace partner site, but Bloomingdale's merchant team selects its own brands, and acceptance on one does not approve you on the other.

Do I need a separate catalog for each Mirakl retailer?

No. Acenda keeps one catalog and adapts your listings to each retailer's category and attribute requirements. The retailer-specific work is the mapping, not a second catalog.
