What is Lowe's Marketplace?
Lowe's launched its online marketplace on Lowes.com in December 2024. Marketplace products appear alongside Lowe's own assortment and are clearly labeled as sold and shipped by a third-party seller, with the seller named. All marketplace products were available for home delivery as of May 2025.
In May 2025, Lowe's announced a partnership with Mirakl to scale the marketplace. In that announcement, Lowe's described the marketplace as a way to extend its aisle with more products customers want.
Who can sell on Lowe's Marketplace?
Lowe's Marketplace is not open to everyone. Lowe's carefully selects its sellers so that products align with Lowe's brand and quality and with its strategy, and it monitors their ongoing performance and product ratings.
Verified sellers range from small businesses up to nationally recognized brands, including existing Lowe's suppliers. An existing Lowe's vendor can sell on the marketplace if selected and if its marketplace products are not duplicative of Lowe's existing assortment.
The baseline is a U.S.-registered business with a U.S. address, a W-9, and an EIN, plus GS1-certified UPCs. Inventory ships from within the United States with Lowe's-approved carriers, and products need to fit Lowe's available categories and meet its product-attribution requirements.
Any business interested in becoming a verified seller can apply at Lowes.com/Marketplace. Lowe's reviews the application. If Lowe's selects you, you receive an invitation to onboard and set up in the Lowe's seller portal.
Lowe's publishes no timeline for review, invitation, or go-live. After an invitation, the practical order is to connect your store, map your catalog to Lowe's templates, set inventory and pricing rules, test orders, and go live. How long that takes varies with catalog size and complexity.
Can Acenda introduce or nominate your brand to Lowe's?
Acenda is an approved, pioneer partner of Lowe's Marketplace and has been part of Lowe's Marketplace since day one. With that comes the honor and responsibility of assisting with introductions and nominations for qualified brands. An introduction or nomination is not approval — Lowe's makes the final decision.
Acenda can introduce or nominate qualified leads to almost any third-party marketplace. Lowe's Marketplace is one example, as are Target Plus, Nordstrom Marketplace, Ulta Beauty Marketplace, Macy's Marketplace, Bloomingdale's Marketplace, and Kohl's. None of those names is the full list.
Since launch, Lowe's has expanded third-party offerings including indoor and outdoor furniture, kitchen and bath, home décor, power and hand tools, and more. Treat that list as examples, not a complete catalog of categories.
The marketplace spans the full price spectrum, from value to premium, and lets Lowe's branch into new product categories across the home. It serves both do-it-yourself homeowners and professional (Pro) customers, as part of Lowe's Total Home strategy.
Listings are built with category-specific import templates in the Lowe's seller portal. Every item needs a Prop 65 declaration, and if the answer is yes, a supporting document is attached.
Every item also needs a front-facing product image and product attributes that are complete for the category. Incomplete attributes, missing Prop 65 documentation, and missing images are common reasons a listing is sent back.
How do shipping and returns work on Lowe's Marketplace?
The seller is solely responsible for fulfillment and shipping. Lowe's shares the customer's name, contact, and delivery information with the seller so the seller can deliver the order and provide related customer service.
Ship promptly against Lowe's published service-level targets, with separate timing for small-parcel and freight (LTL) orders. Confirm the current targets in the Lowe's seller portal. Carriers are Lowe's-approved carriers.
Customers may return marketplace products bought on Lowes.com to any Lowe's store. Marketplace returns follow the same return guidelines as Lowe's merchandise. You process returns for your own listings in the Lowe's seller portal, and each shipment carries tracking plus a return tracking code.
Lowe's Marketplace fees align with industry-standard marketplace commission and referral structures, with exact commercial terms set by Lowe's and confirmed during onboarding. Acenda's platform fee is separate (flat rate per channel, never a percentage of sales).
Lowe's does not publish a public marketplace rate card. Book a demo and we'll walk through the fees for your setup. Read Lowe's Marketplace fees and Acenda's fees.
How does Acenda connect you to Lowe's Marketplace?
Acenda connects your catalog, inventory, pricing, and orders directly to Lowe's Marketplace (and other Mirakl-powered marketplaces), so once you're approved you can list, fulfill, and manage Lowe's orders alongside your other sales channels in one place.
Once Lowe's has approved you, Acenda covers five parts of the day-to-day work.
Listings. Template-based listing push, with validation against Lowe's category attributes before submission.
Inventory and price sync. Scheduled inventory and price sync, with safety-stock buffers.
Orders. Lowe's orders flow into one order view and route to your warehouse, 3PL, or fulfillment partner.
Tracking. Tracking is sent back to Lowe's, with carrier mapping to Lowe's accepted carrier codes.
Returns and cancellations. Cancellation reconciliation and return-status sync, plus payout reconciliation support.
Acenda does not answer buyer messages, set ship times, or approve sellers. The split of work is on what Acenda handles on Lowe's.
Is Lowe's Marketplace a fit for your brand?
Lowe's Marketplace is a fit when you sell home products in Lowe's categories, hold U.S. inventory, and can ship and support customers yourself.
On the marketplace you are the seller of record for your listings: you set product prices, hold inventory, ship, and process returns, while Lowe's handles payment, sales tax, and customer refunds. Selling wholesale is different, because Lowe's buys your goods and sells them as its own.
Lowe's Marketplace is Lowe's curated online marketplace on Lowes.com. It launched in December 2024 and lets selected third-party sellers list products alongside Lowe's own assortment, labeled as sold and shipped by a third-party seller.

Can Acenda nominate my brand for Lowe's Marketplace?
Acenda can introduce or nominate qualified leads to almost any third-party marketplace, including Lowe's Marketplace. An introduction or nomination is not approval. Lowe's makes the final decision.
