Macy's guide
Choosing a Macy's Marketplace integration partner
Quick answer
Macy's Marketplace sellers integrate through selected feed aggregators or directly through Mirakl. Macy's publicly lists Acenda among the selected feed aggregators that Macy's Marketplace sellers can use to upload their items (source: Macy's Marketplace FAQ). Acenda is an approved, pioneer partner of Macy's Marketplace and has been part of Macy's Marketplace since day one.

What the partner does
What does a Macy's integration partner do?
After Macy's approves your brand, the integration partner is the layer between your catalog and the channel.
- Listings and Suggested Fixes. Maps your catalog to Macy's category attributes, checks required fields and image counts before sending, and returns rejections as plain-language Suggested Fixes.
- Attributes and standard values. Colors and sizes use Macy's standard values rather than brand marketing names.
- Size and color variants. Each variant needs its own GS1-certified UPC and a distinct standard color and size.
- Images. Some categories need several images, and links must point at the image file.
- Inventory and price. Stock and prices sync, including multi-warehouse setups, so approved items stay buyable when there is inventory.
- Orders. Orders come in. Tracking, cancellations and returns go back, inside the 48-business-hour ship window.
- Payouts. Weekly J.P. Morgan escrow payouts are matched to the orders, refunds and adjustments behind them.
It does not approve brands, set Macy's terms, ship orders or issue refunds. Your warehouse or 3PL ships, and Macy's decides who sells. The full breakdown is on what Acenda handles for Macy's.
Macy's Marketplace integration partner FAQ
Who is the best integration partner for Macy's Marketplace?
There is no single best partner for every brand. Start with the selected feed aggregators Macy's names on its Marketplace FAQ, then compare them on the same points: time on the channel, Macy's category templates and standard color and size values, GS1 UPCs, orders inside the 48-business-hour ship window, weekly payout reconciliation, the systems they connect, and the fee model. On those points, Macy's publicly lists Acenda among the selected feed aggregators, and Acenda is an approved, pioneer partner of Macy's Marketplace that has been part of it since day one.
Is Acenda an approved Macy's Marketplace partner?
Yes. Macy's publicly lists Acenda among the selected feed aggregators that Macy's Marketplace sellers can use to upload their items. Acenda is an approved, pioneer partner of Macy's Marketplace and has been part of Macy's Marketplace since day one. An introduction or nomination is not approval. Macy's makes the final decision.
Does Macy's Marketplace use Mirakl?
Yes. Macy's Marketplace runs on Mirakl. It was announced in November 2021 and went live on macys.com in September 2022. Sellers integrate through selected feed aggregators, including Acenda, or directly through Mirakl, and vendors selling through Acenda do not need Mirakl Connect.
Can I connect Shopify, NetSuite, Odoo, Business Central or Acumatica to Macy's through Acenda?
Yes. Acenda connects each of these systems, and connecting one lets you sell on the channels Acenda connects, Macy's Marketplace included. Connecting a system doesn't affect whether Macy's accepts your brand; Macy's makes its own decision. See the Shopify, NetSuite, Odoo, Business Central and Acumatica integrations.
What are Macy's Marketplace fees?
Macy's Marketplace fees align with industry-standard marketplace commission and referral structures, with exact commercial terms set by Macy's and confirmed during onboarding. Macy's does not publish a public rate card. Acenda's fee is separate: a flat rate per channel, never a percentage of sales. See Macy's Marketplace fees and Acenda's fees.
