Quick answer

Acenda's ShipBob integration routes marketplace orders to ShipBob for fulfillment and passes tracking back to each marketplace. ShipBob is one of the fulfillment providers that can send stock counts into Acenda, so the channels you sell on draw from ShipBob's inventory.

How does ShipBob connect to Acenda?

ShipBob is a fulfillment provider, a 3PL that ships orders.

A fulfillment provider is assigned to the sales channels and warehouses it fulfills for. You can connect more than one fulfillment provider at the same time.

Our team configures the ShipBob connection with you during onboarding. Acenda routes each marketplace order to the warehouse that ships it.

What moves between ShipBob and Acenda?

Marketplace orders route to ShipBob for fulfillment. In Acenda, an order becomes one or more Ship Advices: one for each warehouse that ships part of it. Each Ship Advice carries the instructions that warehouse needs. Tracking (carrier, number, and ship date) comes back to Acenda and is passed to the marketplace.

ShipBob is one of the fulfillment providers that can send stock counts into Acenda, so the channels you sell on can draw from ShipBob's inventory. That sync replaces hand-entered or imported counts for the provider's warehouse.

Acenda sends inventory to each channel on that channel's own schedule, not the instant stock changes, and holds back any Inventory Floor you set.

Routing modes pick the warehouse: Ship Complete, then Priority or Proximity, then Default. Routing only decides which warehouse ships. It doesn't change what's listed.

Error emails cover invalid addresses, bad tracking numbers, and orders that can't flow. Five failed connection attempts in a row mark a connection Unhealthy. Reconnecting clears it.

ShipBob and retail marketplaces

Connecting ShipBob lets you sell on the channels Acenda connects, including Amazon, Walmart, Target Plus. Listings, routing, and tracking for each channel stay in Acenda. See Explore all channels.

Connecting a system to Acenda doesn't affect whether a marketplace accepts your brand. Each retailer makes its own decision.
